Priorities
Healthcare
George is committed to working with Travis County leaders and community partners to expand access to health care and mental health services. He’ll prioritize resources for the uninsured and push for smart investments in the Travis County Diversion Center to support community members in crisis.
Preventing Displacement
As Constable, George was one of the first to provide legal aid in his office lobby. As Commissioner, he’ll fight for funding to keep legal services available for families facing displacement. He will champion affordable house, and affordable home ownership, so that generations of families can stay rooted in the neighborhoods they love.
Infrastructure & Transit Equity
From fixing roads to improving public transit, George will advocate for smart infrastructure investment in areas that need it most. He’ll work with the City of Austin, Capital Metro, and other partners to ensure Precinct 4 residents benefit from the tax dollars they contribute.
Transparency & The County Budget
George believes Precinct 4 deserves a seat at the table in every budget conversation. He’ll fight for responsible, equitable spending that supports growth, infrastructure, and essential services like health care and housing. He’s committed to educating and engaging the community to ensure transparency and real accountability.
